I found this character design to be right up my alley and began sculpting on my life-cast using images from the in-game scenes and the theatrical release poster as reference.
The initial sculpt was done in oil-based monster clay and molded with silicone rubber
(probably my favorite molding material, honestly).
After the cure, I recycled a plaster shell I used for my life-cast and made a slush cast in resin to keep the weigh manageable. The painting was the most fun, aside from sculpting, since I experimented with gold leaf to give it a more convincing, molten gold texture.
